We are pleased to announce that all students at 91探花视频 is eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch every day!

What is included in a meal?

91探花视频/The Nutrition Group operates according to the USDA School Breakfast Program. With this, a breakfast meal includes an entr茅e with a side of fruit, fruit juice, and/or milk. To receive a meal at the free rate, students must choose at least a fruit or a juice plus two other items. Otherwise, students will be charged for their items at the a la carte price.

91探花视频/The Nutrition Group operates according to the USDA National School Lunch Program. With this, a lunch meal includes an entr茅e (grain and protein), fruits, vegetables, and milk. To purchase a lunch at the meal price, students must choose at least a fruit or a vegetable plus two other food groups. Otherwise, students will be charged for their items at the a la carte price.

Students and staff are welcome to purchase any items a la carte as well. Please refer to our a la carte price list for a full list of the cost of each component, as well as a sampling of other smart snack approved items that can be purchased in addition a meal.

Smart Snacks:

Food sold during the school day is required to meet nutrition standards and are referred to as Smart Snacks. Smart Snacks encourage students to make healthier snack choices to help give them the nutrition they need to grow and learn.

What are the Smart Snack Requirements?

Be a grain product that contains 50 percent or more whole grains by weight/have a whole grain as the first ingredient

  • Have as the first ingredient a fruit, a vegetable, a dairy product, or a protein food
  • Be a combination food that contains at least 录 cup of fruit and/or vegetable
  • The food must meet the nutrient standards for calories, sodium, sugar, and fats:
    • 200 calories or less
    • 200 mg of sodium or less
    • 35% or less of sugar
    • 35% or less of fat with 10% or less saturated fat and 0 grams trans fat
